11-Series Heat Resistant Coatings Abrex 11-Series Coating is a High Temperature, low gloss alkyd-silicone material recommended for use on cast aluminum, aluminized or cold rolled steel parts for Hi-Temperature service up to 1200 degrees F. This product line comes in baking enamels or air dry enamels depending on your application. Some custom colours are offered as well as metallic modifications to give that 3 dimensional look. Typically the non-volatile content for these products ranges from 22-27% by volume. Some proven areas of application include fireplaces, barbecues and stove pipes. Abrex 14-Series coating is a high quality, fast drying, vinyl material recommended for use as a one coat system or a topcoat for steel, aluminum, concrete, glass and some plastics where exterior durability, chemical resistance and adhesion are critical. This product is excellent for electrostatic, airless and conventional spray. Some proven areas of application include fence posts. 20-Series Water Reducible Baking Enamels Abrex 20-Series Baking Enamel is a fast curing, water reducible alkyd-amino material recommended for use on cold and hot rolled steel where good exterior durability is required. This product line can reduce your solvent emissions and has a proven record in farm implement and metal strapping applications. This product offers easy cleanup with water and reduced solvent emissions and odor 22-Series Water Reducible Acrylic Latex Enamels Coatings for Plastic - Water-based "compliant" coatings are available for a variety of plastic substrates including polypropylene, PVC, Cellular PVC, Polycarbonate, Noryl and Polyethylene, as well as "mixed blend" reground materials. These coatings can be used as primers or as finished topcoats and are available in various colours. Abrex 30-Series Alkyd Primers are recommended for use as a primer coat for steel, aluminum and galvanized steel where exterior durability, corrosion protection and adhesion are critical. They are compatible with a wide range of topcoats and can mask any flaws found in the substrate. Use of these primers can add years to the life of a paint job. Typically these primers have a non-volatile content of 30-45% by volume. Abrex 35-Series is a premium quality Hi-solids Primer that offers very fast dry as well as outstanding anti-corrosion properties. This system will accept many topcoats and allows the applicator fill in voids in rough steel that otherwise can't be masked. This product fits when a conventional alkyd is not quite fast enough drying and the colour of your paint job must not yellow with sunlight. 44-Series Fast Dry Acrylic Enamels for Plastic Abrex 44-Series Acrylic enamels are designed to adhere to difficult to paint plastics including untreated polypropylene and various other untreated plastics. This product exhibits superior adhesion, hardness and very fast drying characteristics combined with good weathering properties. 50-Series Alkyd Fast Dry Enamel Abrex 50-Series Fast Dry Alkyd Enamels continue to be the work horse of air dry industrial coaters in Southern Ontario. These products offer good economics combined with ease of application. They are recommended for use as a one coat system for bare steel. Available in a wide range of colours and gloss, this system is usually the first choice of general industrial applicators. It has a proven record in drum enamel applications and tank coatings 51-Series Alkyd Air Dry Enamels Abrex 51-Series Coating is a one component, medium drying, alkyd material recommended for use on primed steel and aluminum where colour, durability, and gloss retention on exposure to sunlight are critical. This product can give a very high gloss finish and is excellent for machinery enamels. 52-Series Low Odour Fast Dry Enamels Abrex 52-Series Coating is a low odour, very fast drying, alkyd material recommended for difficult to coat substrates such as plastics, wood, concrete and some steel. This product is aromatic-solvent free and can give some very high gloss values. 60-Series Alkyd Baking Enamels Abrex 60-Series Coating is a fast curing alkyd-amino material recommended for use on clean steel parts where appearance and durability are critical. This product is available in a wide range of colours and gloss and continues to be a workhorse for industrial baking applications. Good economics as well as ease of application make this product the first choice for baking systems. 67-Series Hi-Solids Polyesters Abrex 67-Series Coating is a high solids, fast curing, polyester-amino material recommended for use as a one coat system for steel and aluminum where durability, hardness, scratch resistance and flexibility are critical. It can be applied easily with electrostatic, airless and conventional spray equipment. It is ideal for office furniture and is available in a wide range of colours and gloss. This product line also includes High flex Coil (T-0> applied systems that have a proven record in venetian blind and baseboard heater type applications. Typically this product line is applied at non-volatile levels of 60% by volume. see photo 69-Series Hi-Solids Polyesters Abrex 69-Series Coating is a product that is similar to our 67 Series in non-volatile content and curing conditions but 69 Series offers better exterior durability with respect to gloss retention. This product is ideal for applications that require glass like gloss values and adhesion to galvanized treated steel. 71-Series Acrylic Baking System Abrex 71-Series Acrylic Baking Enamel is a premiere product that exhibits outstanding colour and gloss retention on exposure to sunlight. It displays a good combination of hardness and flexibility under normal cure conditions. This the product of choice for those difficult to meet exposure specifications 72-Series Acrylic Low Cure Baking System Abrex 72-Series Hi-Solids Acrylic is similar to our 71 Series except this product can achieve cure at temperatures as low as 210f. It retains the excellent sunlight resistance of 71 Series while enabling the applicator to drop the oven temperature or use a baking enamel on large difficult to heat up equipment. It has a proven record if farm implement applications. see photo Abrex is 80-Series is an Epoxy Baking Enamel that offers excellent hardness combined with chemical resistance. This product can be formulated to be high slip for those moving part applications that require high abrasion resistance. 81-Series Epoxy-Polyamide Coating Abrex 81-Series Epoxy-Polyamide Coating is a high solids medium curing material recommended for use as a high performance tank lining for Fire Water, Diesel Fuel and Furnace Oil Tanks. This product offers outstanding chemical resistance, hardness at ambient cure, adhesion to a variety of substrates as well as very high build characteristics.
